Compressor Energy Solutions' Products For Energy Analysts

While we provide advanced analytics for evaluating compressed air systems, our partners are firms the ones that really use our solution. There nothing that can replace an experienced auditor walking around a plant looking for problems. We don't intend to change that, just make that auditor's job easier.

When you sign-up as a CES partner, we supply meters and data loggers on a per-project basis. We provide all of the set-up instructions so that you can run a week-long detailed history of the actual compressed air delivered and the electicity (in kWh) required produce it.

Airflow Meters

After a week, you go back and pull the data off of the meters (or the whole meter itself) and send it to us via e-mail or FTP to our web-site.

We provide a hosted application, so you don't have to buy any computers or special hardware or hassle with installing software on your computer. In fact, all that you need is a basic computer with internet access and a web-browser, and you can use our software.

Our tools are intended to run on a project-by-project bases. Each free standing compressed air system, constitutes a "project". First, we walk you through the components of the compressed air production system, and we generate a schematic of the system (like this...)

Sample Schematic

Next, we take the data collected from our meters and we graphic the airflow and electric consumption. We break-down the usage by day and by shift. From that, a airflow to power curve is created and the overall efficiency of the existing system can be reported.

We provide worksheets with which to calculate reductions in the consumption of air (from leaks, by eliminating inappropriate uses, by reducing air pressure). With the consequent demand reduction, we can adjust to power curve and then we can apply different compressor configurations to the new power curve.

Sample Usage Summary

With an on-line database of all of the CAGI datasheets from Atlas Copco, CompAir, Gardner Denver, Ingersol Rand, Kaeser, Quincy, and Sullair, you can model the electical consumption with different compressors and contol types to find the most efficient and effective configuration.

Finally, we provide information necessary to determine if a utility rebate can be used to offset the remediation costs. When its appropriate, we can generate the utility rebate form for most major power utilities, and calculate the carbon footprint reduction as well.
